Terms and Conditions of Guarantee

The guarantee does not cover deliberate or accidental loss or damage, neglect, improper use or negligence, or poor installation, abnormal storage or use conditions, or any further damage caused after you have first initiated a product warranty or return claim. Only what ID Bath & Spa Ltd consider to be fair wear or tear is acceptable.

To be covered by the ID Bath & Spa Ltd guarantee you must be the original purchaser of the product (including a consumer who has purchased the product directly from one of ID Bath & Spa Ltd authorised distributors).

All Products must be bought in the Ireland or the UK and installed by a qualified professional. Evidence of this will need to be provided to support any claim.

Proof of purchase is required to support any claim made.

Products must be available for inspection and should not be removed or destroyed without ID Bath & Spa Ltd prior consent. Photographic evidence maybe required on request.

All products must be installed according to ID Bath & Spa Ltd instructions. Storage, use, cleaning and maintenance should be carried out according to ID’s recommendations (or if there are none, then good trade practice regarding same). Installation must be carried out in line with good plumbing and electrical fitting practice. Defects are not covered if you fail to follow such instructions.

The guarantee is non-transferable to any subsequent owner.

After repair or replacement, the relevant guarantee period will be calculated from the original date of purchase.

No claim will be accepted if a product is installed with a fault that if at any stage found not to be due to a manufacturing fault.

ID Bath & Spa Ltd reserve the right to charge for any costs both labour and replacement goods incurred as a result of a claim which is not covered by ID Bath & Spa Ltd warranties.

If there is a problem due to a fault that is covered by these warranties ID Bath & Spa Ltd will repair, supply a suitable part or replace the products.

If the products are no longer available, ID Bath & Spa Ltd will replace this with the nearest equivalent from the ID Bath & Spa Ltd product range.

These guarantees do not extend to ex-display products.

The following additional exclusions apply: damage caused by lime-scale, mildew, chemicals or inappropriate cleaning agents; glass breakage; products that have been modified or altered without ID’s consent.

Where you are a consumer, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, but any returns requests must be processed through the distributor you purchased your products from in the first instance.
Product colours may vary. All measurements are in millimetres or centimetres and together with photographs are for guidance only. ID Bath & Spa Ltd reserve the right to change its specifications without prior notice. Errors and omissions are excepted.
Refund, repair or replacement requests must be requested and processed under the terms of the ID Bath & Spa Ltd Returns Policy.
